DESCRIPTION:Attention Wabash County Residents\nThe Annual Rain Barrel Workshop is upon us!\nJoin us at the Solid Waste District offices on Saturday\, March 28th\, 2026\, from 10AM-12PM to learn about the benefits of rain barrels\, and walk away with a fully assembled barrel and the knowledge necessary to maintain it!\nThere are limited spots available for this workshop. Registration ends Friday\, March 20th\, 2026.\nIn partnership with the Wabash River Defenders (WRD)\, your household’s first rain barrel will cost $15.00 thanks to an IDEM 319(h) grant the WRD hold; additional barrels are $65.00 each.\n\n\nThis is a hands-on educational event hosted by the Solid Waste District. DESCRIPTION:Calling all Wabash County residents!\nHave you ever wondered about the Solid Waste District and how the recycling industry works? Good news! The Solid Waste District is set to host its first ever Master Recycler Course!!\nThis FREE\, 4 class course is an in depth view on the world of recycling\, both locally and nationally\, and the best waste management practices.\nWe will meet every Thursday in April from 4:30-5:30 PM. (location will be shared by your educator after registration)\n-Must be 18 or older.\n-Must attend all 4 classes to graduate with certificate (April 30th there will be a graduation ceremony\, and you get a certificate too!)\n– Limited spots available!
